It has often been said that the Yellow-Collar macaw is easy to train, picking up new tricks quickly. It seems that they have a powerful desire to please the one they love and will do almost anything asked of them. With time and good socialization one can train these darling parrots not to demand attention, but rather to request it and work for it.
