There are many ways to donate, and items are more than welcome!

We always need the following items:

• Pelleted Diets - We feed our parrots well here, because we believe that a healthy diet is key to success in every area of working with these birds. The pellets we use are Harrison's High Potency, Roudybush, and Zupreem. We need them in all sizes, and they are welcome at any time. We accept any unopened container.
• Nuts - In order to maintain health in many species it is necessary to feed plenty of nuts, and we also use these for treats. We happily accept any type of nut, in unopened containers.
• Carriers - Taking the parrots to the vet, educational outreach services, incoming birds ... all of these require carriers.
• Perches - While we work hard to have as many of these on hand as possible, parrots chew! We need all kinds, mineral, rope, manzinita, dragonwood, grapevine, and even concrete or sandy perches. Different perching surfaces are important to parrot foot health, and we want to be sure to provide it for our residents.
• Cages - Cages are always needed and welcomed! While some small cages are needed, what we need the most and all the time is large and extra large parrot cages. Many of our birds come to us in pitiful cages, not appropriate to their size, rusted, or damaged beyond repair. We are happy to accept new or used cages, as long as they are in good shape.
• Toys - Parrot mental health depends on the ability to play! We provide as many toys for each bird here as possible, and they go through a lot of them. Toys and toy parts are both a wonderful gift to our residents, and we very much appreciate your taking the time to select them and send them.
• Playstands or Play Trees - Because we keep the parrots in the cages as little as possible, this means they need areas outside of the cage where they can safely play, eat, forage, and interact with the world. Both small and large play areas are needed at all times, and we have never had an excess of what we can use. We are happy to accept new or used, provided they are in good condition.
• Full Spectrum Lighting - While we work hard to get the birds out into natural sun as often as possible the weather doesn't always work with us. Birds need full spectrum lighting to maintain health.
  
• Vet Care - We happily accept a prepayment to our veterinarian for the care of our residents. This is a wonderful gift to the bird, helping us assure them good health.
• Pet Focus Cleaner - We use a lot of Pet Focus (a Mango product) to keep things clean and healthy for the birds of Feathered Family.
• Sponges, brooms, mops and mop heads
  
• Latex or Vinyl Gloves

• We are in need of a van or large truck for transporting bird cages and for transporting the parrots for educational presentations. Donation of a vehicle is tax deductible.
• Storage buildings for outdoor storage, or lumber to allow us to build them in house.
• Skilled tradesmen (or women) who can help us build things we need.
  
• Washcloths, hand towels, towels. (no holes please)
• Paper towels.
• Office supplies, such as printer paper, printer ink, paper clips, folders, etc.
• A portable sink, such as the kind used in catering.
• Full spectrum UV lighting.
  
• A food service cart. (To transport meals to the birds)
• Scales that weigh in grams.
• Liquid dish detergent.
• Laptop computer.
• Untreated lumber that can be used to make bird toys.
• We are often contacted about birds from other states. If you would be willing to donate your time and your vehicle to assist in transporting birds, please contact us at the address above.
