Hi! Im Tiki! I'm a Hahns Macaw, one of the mini-macaws. Don't try to tell me I'm mini though, I have a personality big enough for any Hyacinth!

I do have an issue with my feathers, for some reason I'm not sure I should have them all. I enjoy having tail feathers, but Im not so sure about my chest feathers. I have half of them, because I cant quite make up my mind.

I love having long involved conversations with people. I have a wonderful vocabulary, and I am happy to speak plenty of gibberish too. My voice is just adorable, it keeps everyone here at Feathered Family laughing.

I enjoy flying, and am a very strong flier. Even with clipped wings I can get around rather well, so my new home will have to have a special understanding of safety for flighted parrots.

I prefer women, but I tolerate men rather well too. I'm very snugly and enjoy being held below your chin while you pet me gently.

I really am a wonderful bird, aren't I?

I had a shower at Feathered Family, and though I wasn't sure what to think at first once I realized what was going on I enjoyed it very much. Now I want showers all the time.

Tiki has been adopted once, and returned to Feathered Family. His needs proved too much for the family that adopted him. This was heartbreaking for every one involved. At this point we would really like to see Tiki in a forever home, but it is going to take a very special home. He is outgoing, personality plus, but he is also a macaw. This cannot be forgotten. Even a mini macaw is a lot of work.
