Adopted parrots have a very special brand of love to give, as they know what the loss of a home is like, and will treasure you all the more once they have truly bonded.

It is unfortunate that so many people purchase birds that do not fit in their lives and homes; these birds very often end up either as cage decorations or in a rescue looking for a home that does fit.
