Jenday Conure

Aratinga Jendaya

The beautiful Jenday conure is catching on. Although he carries with him the normal loud Aratinga conure voice, they are charming their way into homes and hearts everywhere. Jendays are fun, vivacious, full of energy, and a bundle of bouncing love. Being a conure, they are one of the smaller parrots available, but don't let size fool you, they can yell the walls down if they choose to. Jendays are intelligent birds, and can learn to do tricks easily for the sheer joy of doing them. Personally, this author has been charmed by more than one Jenday in her time, but does not have the capacity to share my life forever with one, due to their loud nature. The Jenday conure and the Sun conure look similar, but it is important to note that the Jenday has lovely green wings, where the Sun conure does not.

Einstien, pictured above, was a one time rescue at Feathered Family. He is now happily settled into his new and loving home, doing extremely well.
