Ducorps Cockatoo

The relatively rare Ducorps Cockatoo. Not yet well known, these little Cockatoos have a reputation among their devoted owners of being wonderful companion parrots. Similar in size to the Gofin Cockatoo, but with touches of peach in their feathers, and different personalities these little bundles are a joy to be around for the proper person. It is said that the Ducorps has a more calm disposition than the other small cockatoos, and that they speak well. Ducorps are known to make soft crying sounds, which is most usually a juvenile sound associated with weaning which goes away as the parrot matures. Averaging 12-13 inches in length and around 360 grams these wonderful little know cockatoos are fast becoming popular.
