WHY DONATE?
Too often people pass up a chance to donate, for one reason or another. However, we NEED donations to run Feathered Family. Your donations go to the care of the birds, they are tax deductible, and they help us make a difference every day! Caring for the birds at Feathered Family is expensive, even with careful shopping and using every discount we can we still spend a great deal of money every single day on the birds.
Nuts: $185.00 per month OR $6.60 per DAY
Pellets, seed, and dried veggies (Dry Mix): $630 per month OR $21.00 per DAY
Fresh foods: $184 per month OR $6.13 per DAY
Please consider, this does not count the basic utility costs such as electricity, water, or heat. No building maintenance, cages, toys, or medical care is listed. The expenses listed above are simply for feeding the parrots at Feathered Family.
