Cherry-Headed Conure or Red-Masked Conure

(Aratinga erythrogenys)

It seems so hard to find information about these beautiful birds! They do have a reputation of being the best talkers of the conure group, with even wild imports learning to speak clearly and with large vocabularies. Like all conures these beautiful birds enjoy bathing. The Cherry-Headed also seem to have a reputation for extreme bonding to people and some territorial aggression.
